Tour Program

Day 01: Hoi A - My Son (L/D) (40 km)

Ride from Hoi An to visit My Son, the capital of Champa Kingdom; stop to visit Thanh Ha Ceramic & Pottery Factory before riding on rural roads to the My Son World Heritage Site. Spend time exploring the My Son site before transferring back to Hoi An for lunch in the afternoon. Stay the night in Hoi An.

Day 02: Hoi An - Hue (B/L/D) (50-90 km)

Begin the day by transferring to the bottom of the Hai Van Pass. Pedal uphill to the peak of Hai Van Pass where you can explore the former French and American bunkers. Then travel by scenic countryside back lanes to the roads by the ocean on the way to Hue city. Continue cycling through fishing villages and the ancient burial-ground of Hue (locals refer to it as ghost city) to Hue city. Another option is to keep biking on the country back roads, then transfer to Phuoc Tuong Pass where we will roll through little hills and small villages. A few kilometres downhill from the top, we follow a rural road to the fishing villages, pass the ancient burial-ground of Hue, then ride on coastal roads to Thuan An. Transfer to Hue city in late afternoon.

Day 03: Hue city by bike (B/L/) (40 km)

After breakfast at our hotel, we pedal to the Citadel of Hue by bike. The Forbidden City Citadel is the former capital of Vietnam. Then cycle to Thien Mu pagoda, an example of some of the ancient architecture of Hue city. We continue riding on hilly country roads to Khai Dinh, Tu Duc, and Minh Mang Tomb. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and then cycle back to your hotels. (Option: transfer back to hotel).
