After that driving to Duy Hai fishing village, where the ocean and river meet, was once a quiet fishing village on the banks of Thu Bồn River until space in Hoi An became limited and land more valuable so their fish market was moved here. Now, only 10 minutes down river from Hoi An, Duy Hai is booming. At first light you can observe the morning ritual and market energy. There are amazing photo opportunities to capture the sun’s rays across the water, filtering through the fish smoking chamber and contrasting beautifully with the lush countryside. You can see the fishermen after their night of fishing surrounded by local women and traders keen to get first pick of the fresh catch for sale in local markets and restaurants. Some women quickly commence drying and smoking their fish while others carry theirs by motorbike to markets in Hoi An for regular customers who keenly vie for the catch of the day. Visitors are encouraged to purchase seafood for their own use .And then we are driving to Kim Bong Village was made famous by generations of artisans who produced incredible examples of wooden ships, furniture, sculptures and carvings. Today local tradespeople still create fascinating products and use the ancient skills to restore the centuries-old buildings. Be sure to cycle around the village and explore the surrounding landscape, discover beautiful waterways, view the agriculture and the local people as they go about their daily tasks.Take a fery boat back the city and going to Tra Que vegetable village.
